Partnering with Parakletis Ministries
Glen has been in pastoral ministry since 1977 and is ordained both by Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and Water of Life, where he served as a pastor for 25 years.
Glen has a BA in Religion with an emphasis in Biblical Studies, a Master’s Degree in Psychology and is certified as a Trauma Specialist by The National Institute for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder under the Veterans Administration and the Department of Defense.
Glen has brought the ministry of healing deep war wounds to 10 nations in Africa and the Middle East over the last 15 years. Many of these countries are closed to traditional methods of evangelism.
The ministry focus of Parakletis is to bring the love and healing of Christ to those traumatized by war in order to fulfill the great commission. They do that by training nationals in healing trauma and by bringing teams of women from the USA trained to heal trauma. Both groups minister healing to those traumatized in countries affected by war. They currently bring healing to individuals in Iraq/Kurdistan, Syria, Lebanon, and the Rohingya people in Myanmar. In Northern Uganda, they minister to the refugees coming out of South Sudan and have trained 500 teachers on how to heal the deep wounds of children who have been affected by the war in the region. Because of their training and skills, they have access to unreached people groups and closed countries, and thus are able to bring the Good News of Christ’s love to them through His healing power.
If you would like more information on how you can join the Parakletis Team to bring the healing love and power to the traumatized, you can email Glen at firstname.lastname@example.org or friend him on Facebook.
Favor, provision, and blessings over the ministry.
