Missionary Information:

In Andrew’s own words, “I first came to Kenya on a short-term trip with Water of Life during the summer of 2011. In October 2012, shortly after graduating college, God sent me back for what I thought would be a two-month internship. However, the Lord kept urging me to go back for longer, and two-months have now become over two-years. Now I find myself on permanent staff with ELI until the Lord calls me elsewhere. Praise the Lord!”

Latest Update:

“Our focus is restoring hope and dignity to the poor by providing access to clean water through sustainable and cost-effective solutions. This allows us to form deeper relationships through bible-based health & sanitation teachings, discipleship opportunities, and developing local leaders with skills to make an income through water drilling and supply. In 2018 we plan to impact 20 communities and schools with clean water and the Word. We purchased a large drilling rig in 2017 and have trained a local team to operate it. They are now empowered to bring the solution to their own people.

I live in Kalemera Village near Mwanza, Tanzania on the shores of Lake Victoria. I live with ELI Tanzania director Yakobo Yasini Sembo and his family. It is now 5 years since I first moved to Africa and God continues to give me the passion to keep persevering through the challenges by bringing new friends, vision and inspiration into my life.”

Prayer Needs:

1. Pray for God’s wisdom to continue innovating sustainable and cost effective solutions for the world’s water crisis.
2. Pray for discernment as we look to add several team members this year for admin, mWASH training, and discipleship.
3. Pray for the Holy Spirit to go before us into the villages and prepare the hearts of the people to receive God’s word. “
